The Product

Authentic Normandy Camembert, the iconic French cheese with creamy interior and white-bloomed rind. True AOP Camembert comes only from Normandy and follows strict traditional methods.

Origin & Terroir

Made exclusively in Normandy from Norman cow's milk. The region's mild, humid climate and rich pastures create ideal conditions. Five specific Norman cattle breeds can be used, with Normande preferred.

How to Enjoy

Serve at room temperature when the interior is oozy and ripe. Pair with Normandy cider, Champagne, or light red wine. Traditionally eaten on baguette or with apples. Perfect as a cheese course after dinner.

Did You Know?

True Camembert de Normandie AOP must be made with raw milk and hand-ladled into molds - five ladles per cheese! The recipe was supposedly created in 1791 by Marie Harel. Most "Camembert" sold worldwide isn't real Normandy Camembert - look for the AOP label.
