Become a Certified Adjudicator

GWR adjudicators are the guardians of culinary record integrity. If you have expertise in culinary arts or food science and a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you.

What is a GWR Adjudicator?

Adjudicators are certified professionals who witness, measure, document, and verify record attempts. You’ll travel to locations worldwide, work with talented chefs and culinary professionals, and play a direct role in making history.

As an adjudicator, you are the face of GWR at record attempts. Your expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail ensure that every certification meets our rigorous standards. You’ll conduct on-site measurements, interview participants, photograph evidence, and prepare detailed reports that our verification team reviews.

This is not a desk job. You’ll experience culinary cultures firsthand, witness extraordinary achievements, and contribute to the permanent record of gastronomic history.

Requirements & Qualifications

We seek individuals with strong culinary or food science backgrounds who embody our values of integrity, precision, and professionalism.

Essential Requirements


  • Degree in culinary arts, food science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years professional culinary experience
  • Fluent in English (additional languages preferred)
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication

Preferred Qualifications


  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in food-related field
  • Experience with Michelin-rated establishments
  • Food safety certification (HACCP, ServSafe, etc.)
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Experience in quality assurance or auditing
  • Multiple language proficiency
